10. Gluten-free food is healthier.
If you are gluten sensitive, that is. In other cases, removing gluten from your diet won’t do a thing for your body – except lessen your intake of fiber, vitamins and minerals. What’s more, most gluten-free breads contain refined starches, and those are not too good for your health.
So, the only reason to exclude gluten from your diet would be individual intolerance: Celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. Most people, however, can handle gluten just fine and shouldn’t give it up just because someone else’s body can’t process the stuff.
